RECOMMENDED PARKING:
Walt Disney Concert Hall parking garage. Enter from 2nd St. and proceed to level P3 for direct access to REDCAT. The evening rate is $8 after 5pm. Self-parking is also available at the Five Star parking lot on the corner of Hope St. and Kosciuszko Way. This lot is open until 7pm and is $6 after 4pm.

An experimental narrative set in post-revolutionary Russia, MAGGOTS AND MEN recounts the 1921 Kronstadt sailor uprising with a twist of gender anarchy. Shot on Super 8 and 16 mm, this theatrical homage to silent Soviet cinema fantasizes the historical - and homoerotic - relations of the all-male crew with queer and transgender actors from across the masculine spectrum. Beautifully realized, MAGGOTS AND MEN is a celebration and call to arms for radical queers everywhere!
